This Silicone Plastinate reveals the position and fibre arrangement of the corona radiata and cerebral peduncle, alongside the external structure of the half of the brainstem and cerebellum with associated pontocerebellar fibres.

- Half brain (left or right side), consisting of the cerebrum (parts), brainstem, and cerebellum.
- Arachnoid (part) and blood vessels in situ over cerebral cortex.
- Lateral side of cerebral hemisphere removed to reveal the corona radiata and its continuity with the internal capsule and cerebral peduncle of the midbrain.
- Optic tract and its relationship with the cerebral peduncle.
- Cranial nerves and arteries of the brainstem removed.
- External features of the brainstem including its three main parts (midbrain, pons, medulla oblongata), cerebral peduncles, interpeduncular fossa, and the pyramids and olives of the medulla oblongata.
- External features of the cerebellum including its hemispheres, lobes, lobules, fissures, and folia.
- Paramedian sagittal section through the cerebrum, brainstem, and cerebellum, to reveal grey and white matter.
- Corpus callosum and cingulate gyrus.
- Parts of thalamus and hypothalamus, and head of caudate nucleus.
- Lateral ventricle and parts of the choroid plexus.
