Head & Neck: Blood vessels
Product code: HC3009
-
Whole Whole region / system / unpaired organ.
The head, neck and brain receive their arterial supply mostly via branches of the carotid and subclavian arteries which form extensive networks of vessels with multiple points of anastomosis. This Cast uniquely reveals the orientation, course and capacity (luminal diameter) of the arterial supply to the head and neck, and its pattern of branching beyond named vessels. Parts of the course and branching of the carotid and subclavian arteries can be explored, alongside some of the cortical territories of the cerebral arteries.
