Elbow & cubital fossa
Product code: HP0507
-
Single Side Left or right side of a region / system / organ.
The cubital fossa contains major neurovascular structures supplying the forearm and hand. Its design permits movement of the elbow and forearm, without compromising the neurovascular supply. A knowledge of regional anatomy is important for clinical examination and a range of interventional procedures. This Silicone Plastinate provides clear views of the boundaries and contents of the cubital fossa, and of the muscles acting on the elbow. The course, branching and destination of key regional neurovascular structure are revealed alongside common points for their access, entrapment, damage, or local block.
