Elbow joint & radio-ulnar syndesmosis

Product code: HP1002

  • Single Side Left or right side of a region / system / organ.

The elbow joint is involved in movements of the forearm. It represents a collection of three separate articulations: humeroradial, humeroulnar and proximal radioulnar. Movements at these joints are essential for dextrous tasks such as feeding, object manipulation, non-verbal communication, and self-care. This Silicone Plastinate enables the structure and alignment of the elbow joint to be visualized and explored alongside the joint capsule and associated ligaments. The proximal part of the radio-ulnar syndesmosis (interosseous membrane) and the oblique cord are also revealed.
