Digestive system (expanded position)

Product code: HP1101

  • Whole Whole region / system / unpaired organ.

The digestive system consists of numerous parts, each having a structure that reflects its functions. Visualisation of the morphology of the different parts of the GI tract, while in the anatomical position, is challenging. This Silicone Plastinate shows the gastrointestinal tract (from mouth to anus) and associated organs laid out in an expanded position, enabling the full extent of each part to be visualized. The differential and changing structure of the different parts of the digestive tract and the different shapes are easy to explore.
