Testicle & spermatic cord

Product code: HP1701

  • Single Side Left or right side of a region / system / organ.

The testicles produce spermatocytes and testosterone. Spermatocyte production is optimal several degrees below body temperature, consequently the testicles are located outside of the axial body. A knowledge of the normal shape, size, and orientation of the testicles, and of closely associated structures are key to proficient clinical examination. In this Silicone Plastinate the distal part of the spermatic cord and fasciae covering the testicle are cut and reflected to reveal the testicle and its associated neurovascular supply, and the ductus deferens and epididymis.
