The female genital system consists of external and internal parts that are located primarily within the pelvic cavity and perineum. In females the distal (inferior) part of the urinary system is closely associated with the genital system, and provides mechanical support. This Silicone Plastinate shows the component parts of the female genital systems, including the ovaries, uterus, vagina and their associated peritoneal formations, and the vulva and clitoris.
