"This visit got under the skin."

After his visit to our laboratory, Woidke posted a recap to his social media pages he said, "This visit got under the skin.  And not only proverbially, because at the PLASTINARIUM in Guben, visitors can learn more about the anatomy of humans and animals. Here, detailed preparations and plastinates are created, which are mainly used in medical education. The 115 employees proudly presented their work and works to me yesterday."

He added, "The PLASTINARIUM has a large collection of anatomic preparations as well as a learning workshop, in which students, medical professionals and other interested people can deepen their anatomical knowledge using prepared plastinates, models, tables, computers and textbooks for self-study. In the future, not only will student groups from abroad use this resource regularly, but certainly also students of the Medical University of Lausitz."

Woidke concluded, "Guben has a world-market leader within the city and at the same time a unique tourism magnet for the entire region. Special thanks to Gunther von Hagens, the founder of Gubener Plastinate.
